Watt Pottery Advertising pieces have been prized by collectors for years. These litte gems were given away as advertising premiums by the local grocery market or hardware store, even gas stations and lumber yards gave them away in hopes of earning a repeat customer.

The Watt Pottery Co. made a variety of advertising pieces in many patterns. Advertising bowls, pitchers and pie plates seem to be the most common, but advertising can also be found on covered sugar bowls, salt and pepper shakers, even cookie jars and other items. Just about anything that a store or business owner wanted their ad printed on.

Watt Pottery Advertising pieces are a very good investment and pieces in perfect condition usually don't stay on the market long. It's not just the "Watt Pottery" collectors snatching these pieces up. Many collectors of Red Wing advertising pieces and Western Stoneware just can't resist that "Watt Apple Pitcher" from their hometown or local grocery store that used to be around the corner. Making the values rise even faster.
